Wizkid, Davido, Others Nominated For AFRIMA 2017 Award

Top Nigerian musicians will be slogging it out at the forthcoming AFRIMA 2017 award. A 13-man jury of the All Africa Music Awards, AFRIMA, on Tuesday unveiled the nominees list for the 2017 edition.
Some of Nigeria’s big shots like Davido and Wizkid are to battle for the best male category in West Africa. Others in the male category are Runtown, Tekno, Ycee, Mr. Eazi, Guinean MHD and DJ Arafat from Ivory Cost.

Also, from the female category, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade and Babes Wodumo,  Aramide,Viviane Chidid, Seyi Shay, Becca and Zeynab are also nominated for Best Female Act in their respective regions.
Ms Angela Martins, Head, Culture Division, African Union Commission, AUC, noted that the adjudication process was a comprehensive and superb work of the jurors.
Lineup of events for AFRIMA 2017 such as Music Village and the AFRIMA Music Business Summit are slated for November 10-12, 2017 and will be broadcast across 84 countries around the world.
