Police Rescue Man Chained By Grand Mother

The Lagos police command on Wednesday rescued a man, Shola Balogun, who has allegedly been kept in chains for over a year by his 85-year-old grand mother.
ChannelsTV reports that Balogun, who resides in 18 Damigoro street, Mushin, Lagos State, was incarcerated for being mentally ill.
The grandmother who claimed Bolaji is mentally ill said he was kept in the condition with the consent of some family members.
The victim has been taken to the Psychiatric Hospital in Yaba by the Police Area Commander for Area D.
