Michelle Norvell I never post to FB people I don't know. I didn't know Paul Walker except through characters he played, so I am not sure why I feel so sad for him and his family. I am a ER nurse and see young people die everyday and with the exception of a few that made me cry, I never think about them again. So I am trying to figure out why I feel so heart heavy for Paul, when I didn't know him at all. I have thought about it the last couple of days and the only thing I can surmise is that GOD occasionally sends exceptional souls on the earth to offset all the evil among us. Unfortunately, they seem to be taken away to soon, like Princess Diana, who also gave to those in dire need. In the end, I believe that very few people have the capacity to connect so many people in this way and we never realize it until they are gone. Saturday was evidence of that connection and it seems that a presence like his must have been a tool to humble us all. It also reminds us that the amount of wealth or status a person achieves means absolutely nothing because we are all human; we all are born the same way and die the same way but the one thing that makes us different is what and how we choose to spend our time while we are here. Paul seems to have been the one who spent it giving to those who needed it most. What an example to leave behind on this earth. And they are not worshipped or praised like this. Wake up and smell the coffee, they died doing something ILLEGAL, where they could have injured or killed innocent civilians.

Martine Le Corre To follow on what Michelle feels, I trust that the main reason why we feel so sad about this young man we only knew through the screen is just because of the way he was, acting or not : Paul was so luminous that he seemed to be crossing the screen and as a new sunny friend he could say "Come on, let's have a drink together". We do need such smiling and bright people around us as life is supposed to be happiness and love !!! I am not religious as many and I find my strength within myself and through people of his kind that I have the luck to meet from time to time, unknown soldiers of life....would have really loved to get to know Paul

Zaneta Rodowanska Thousands of people would like that it was just a joke because he was a man who could still have a lot to do "with his own hands" for people. It is simply unfair.Probably Vin Disel says of him that he is an Angel in heaven. It's true.But He was also Angel in here - he looked like an Angel and the Angel he was where he had to be. Why does God take us to such people if He knows that we, the world really need them? People don't want to believe that this is true and they are looking for even small details proving that they alive. For example: Plate disagree, witnesses saw one person in the car .... I also would like to add, seeing how Paul has 11 million people who like his page, wouldn't it be wonderful if all 11 million people would please donate toward the organization that he himself started? If 11 million only donated a dollar each that alone would be significant toward what he wanted in his heart. To aid and help whomever was in need. No matter how famous this gentleman became he never once wavered from the humbled soul he was. God doesn't create people like him everyday which is why people across the globe felt the ache and agony of his passing. Jennifer Burch Very poignant words...and how beautiful of you to also remember that Roger also passed away. I, too, have a very heavy heart...for someone I didnt even really know. Sure, I had posters of his beautiful face up on my walls from his Varsity Blues days...but he was just another pretty face. To find out, AFTER he passed away, that not only was he beautiful...but a kind, caring and compassionate person...makes me so very very sad. He and Roger were GOOD men, and it is so very unfair that the world had to lose them.

Karen Montero I guess even though I didn't know Paul Walker I could tell he was a great guy...a genuine human being with a heart of gold. You know, I've had this gift to be able to tell if a person is really genuine without even knowing them. I feel the same way about Drew Brees (N.O. Saints). You can just tell even though he had the looks, he also had the personality and the great character & high integrity we all should have. Unfortunately not everyone has those great character traits but I knew Paul Walker did years ago after seeing his interviews, his movies (Eight Below), etc. What a huge loss to this world.....we need more people like him and it's hard to wrap this around our heads for him to be taken so soon. Jennifer Cooper I'm in the same boat as a lot of you on Paul Walker. I had no idea who he really was until I started hearing about his tragic accident and from all the pictures I've seen of him so far he looks pretty handsome. I'm more familiar with Vin Diesel, Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson, and some of the other actors in the Fast & Furious movie franchise than with him. I wish his family the best.

I am mourning like I knew him when all I knew was him thru tv. Beautiful , sweethearted, kind, generous man. Its strange how someone can make a big impact on your life when you never even met him. I have been a big fan of is back from She's All that and all the Fast and Furious movies but never have I grieved for a celebrity like I lost a close friend as I am now. He just did seem to have that connection to so many people just a beautiful spirit you could almost see around him. I guess I believe it seems like this happens a lot with those truly unique souls - we lose them too soon for us but for him maybe it was the perfect time - maybe we just get to the point where we can not do more good here on earth for ourselves - I mean he had wealth and still was humble. He new fame but was down to Earth. He knew how to live life to the fullest and lived more in his 40 years than many could live in 150. Now just look what his death is doing - connecting people from all over the globe and teaching us that we are all human. We all live, laugh, lcry, love, and die in the same way, and there is now so much awareness of the charities he and his friend believed in. It's truly amazing. Thank you for much for your words and I guess I had to add a few of my own. I hope their families and friends are comforted by how loved they were. Id say RIP but I hope they're living it up up there too

I didnt know why i was so heartbroken when i heard of his death but after i read a few posts of how he lived his life and his character, thats what really touched my heart and it is so true that those that shine the brightest are the most humble about it! He knew he couldnt earn his way to heaven by his own good works cause he never seemed to seek attention for any for it.He knew there was a God and was blown away by his creation frm surfing everyday as he says in his own words! If he believed Jesus is Lord that came to earth in humility to set an example for us how to live and die in our place of sin only to rise and conquer death then paul displays Gods Spirit was very much alive in him by his loving kindness, and his spirit lives on in his new body with our good Lord Jesus right now! Paul giving didnt operate out of fear of earning Gods love but of knowing it and esp. for those hurting..I never heard about any good he did till now but thats what i think touched me the most his love and humility that is a gift to the world.It does seem interesting that the ones that shine the brightest seem to die young but it brings clarity and humility to remind us of what is important in this life. We could use more paul walkers, my heartfelt prayers now go to his family and friends.
